Работы по улучшению аппарата ведутся...

Но видно не все довольны оригиналом.
Вот с этим отзывом о ВШТ с Гарм.Централа я в чем-то согласен, простите что на инглише ...
Sound Quality : 3
My gear: Jackson USA Soloist (SL1) and USA warrior (WR1), both with EMG-81's wired at 18 Volts. Running through Rocktron Replifex into a VHT 2-90-2 (which, by the way, is the best tube Power Amp I've ever heard), which comes out of two Marshall Mode Four cabs (which I bought after I sold my Mesa Rectifier cabs).
I play technical, fast, intricate, brutal metal. I like full bodied, crisp, sensitive, tight sound that is rich in a full chord but can also really define the agressive, fast stoccato notes, and, at the same time, allow you to chunk with the grooviest of beats. (Which I actually can get close to "perfect" tone with my existing Rocktron preamp).
This can't do all of those things; only some, and not to my liking.
Ok, so much of sound is subjective, but: While I like it better than other tube preamps I've heard, but it suffers the same maladies as most tube preamps: It's FUUUUUZZZZZZZZZY and very grainy. This doesn't surprise me as, really, when you look at the physics behind how tubes distort compared to certain solid state distortions, it makes sense... but I digress.
People have mentioned this preamp to be quiet, and the cleans "shimmering". Not exactly. The clean is rather basic, only interesting if you play music where you rely on the slight clip a tube clean can give you. But it's NOT quiet in heavy distortion. It hisses pretty damn badly when the distortion is churning.
It does allow for decent thump, but that thump turns to jelly when you start muting fast staccato. Chunky stuff can sound pretty good through this thing if you like it dirty and raw, but it will never have the crisp, clean, yet blazing sounds that are required for fast intricate metal. Sustain was ok, and saturation was "ok", but not great. It wasn't as farty as, say, Marshall heads tend to be... until you flip the Deep switch or hit the FAT button. That produced a lot of flab when playing fast.
At various points, I thought I could live with the tone/distortion, and could get certain stlyes to sound ok by themselves... but strung together as a real song, it didn't work.
Taken as a whole, I thought it sounded too grainy, "buzzy", and dirty. When I plugged back into my beloved Rocktron Preamp, the cleanliness, saturation, sustain, and edge I have always loved returned... at which point I promptly re-packaged the GP3 and sent it back.
This may be good for some styles, but those who say it can cover "everything from blues to metal" either don't know anything about fast, intricate, melodic death metal, or just haven't been fortunate enough to have owned or heard anything better (like I have).
Так что так...

Когда на репе были, к нам зашел чел. из соседнего локала ... и сказал "вот этот звучит лучше, у того звук слишком грязный" показывая пальцем на ВШТ.
