1W poweramp

Hello, sorry for english toppic but i have a problem. I see a lot of smart guys in here so i think that i will ask for something.

I have design a little PA 1W or something like this. It will be powered by nixie PSU.
It will use normal input stage then cathodyne on 1 ecc83 tube and signal will be outputed from ecc82 tube thru transformer.

It will be used to connect external preamp and 9v eq betwean it and PA. I think that ecc82 tube will be drived with good signal streanght that will be loose on eq and will go up on that first stage...

Or it's bad idea?

Put here what type preamp(or scheme) you want to use, and type Eq(or scheme) for full image of your plan. I think it's would be better to understand your question for people here.

Seems to me , the idea is quite strange. Why did you take a decision to use this 1watt PA . Do you need  to have output signal to be distorted  ( like guitar amp sounding ) or clean ?  Your schematic diagram has the error . Feedback resistor R11 must to be connected to point R1-C1-R7.

IT must act like normal guitar amp. preamp will be higain something engl like, i want to use it for playing at house. As Post EQ i want to use MXR EQ.

Triod in PP output stage is not for guitar good sounding amps. The sound will be dull and rigid.  Pls, look here

I agree with you that push pull small signal triode based amp is not a good idea but single ended pentode or triode design is even worse.

So what is better idea ? Then push pull as poweramp for playing at home with good sound quality?

I can build a TBA820 amp like in engl e530.

My advice is get some 6П30Б or 6П30Б-Р subminiature pentodes from ebay or elsewhere and make a regular push-pull class AB power amp as are most of the guitar amps. Depending on the anode voltage you'll be able to get somewhere between 2 and 6 Watts RMS before clipping.

What do you think? It's worth to try? How to make this PA better then in is in this configuration ?

PA like fireflywork good for me, i know it's not the best think that i can make but it's ok and better then making an ic based pa...
