So what is better idea ? Then push pull as poweramp for playing at home with good sound quality?

Hello, sorry for english toppic but i have a problem. I see a lot of smart guys in here so i think that i will ask for something.

I have design a little PA 1W or something like this. It will be powered by nixie PSU.
It will use normal input stage then cathodyne on 1 ecc83 tube and signal will be outputed from ecc82 tube thru transformer.

It will be used to connect external preamp and 9v eq betwean it and PA. I think that ecc82 tube will be drived with good signal streanght that will be loose on eq and will go up on that first stage...

Or it's bad idea?

have question about transformers back to back placing.
what two transformers will be best for this build?

230-12->10.5-230 = ~370V
but how many mA must have the 1 and the second transformer?
tubes will take 600mA
relays about 50mA
it will be ok if i use the first transformer: 230-12V 1A
and the second one: 230-10.5V 0.3A ??
i don't want to overload the second transformer  :-/

Yes i don't know why, i cant set that bypas to work... whatever i'm doing it wont work right...

I want to make a new project on the base of this distortion, becaues i see potential in the samples from Denns website.

I got a Question:
If i will put a 2 realys on begin and end of it for make a selectable clean channel (different preamp, i dont know for now what preamp it will be the best for it and still searching) and dirty channels - this preamp same switchable with relays. And then bufor on the output to work as a preamp in to the small power amp?

channels in dirty mode will be same switchable with relays...

I want to make a little practise amp with 4 channels and usable sound - clean cruntch rythm lead for practise, i dont want to spend to mutch money for tubes and trafos etc. I don't need the tube sound...

Any sugestion for some good sounding clean pream?

hehe i never say i want to have tube i ask only if sound is round and more mids then in normal sansamp

Sansamp gt2 is ok but it dont have good EQ for me...

yes but for now i can only simulate, i'm in japan now, when i will back to Poland in the end of this month i will try to build it In here there are no 2sk170, i cant find them...

Btw. if i will like the distortion i will try to make something like full preamp, with clean channel, cruntch rythm lead and relay matrix.

clean channel will be separate preamp and bypass of this preamp just by 2 relays (one on in and one on out). If this little devil will work ok in return of the tube pa i want to make a little rack device with good distortion, 2 outputs - 1st normal 2nd cab out + xlr (redbox II clone).
